I have a laptop with winxp installed on it with service pack 2 but there are no other drivers installed on it as there is no cd with it to install the drivers.

I installed the modem for accessing the net via broadband but when i try to surf the web the web pages do not load up.

What can i do to solve this as i need to download drivers for the laptop to get it up and running?

The XP default drivers should be fine to let you view the internet. I would make sure your Internet Explorer browser settings, connection tab settings are set correctly. If that's what browser you are using. Make sure it says never dial a connection. Then shutoff your computer and umplug the modem chord and shutoff the modem, wait 30 seconds then put it back in turn it on and go try again.
