You'll probably have to go to «Tools», «Options», «Security» and uncheck "do not authorize openning or saving of attached files that may contain viruses".

I went to "security", but nothing dispalyed the wording "Do not authorize opening or...". Is there another option?

whenever someone sends me a picture to either my Hotmail, or my Yahoo, I only see blank boxes--no images. I have WinXP.

Hi Shortdee Hotmail and Yahoo have "junk" mail boxes . Check that your mail with pictures does not go there .
