Whenever I try to copy and paste files to my CD/DVD writer I get a error beep. I can send the files to the writer but when I try to "Write these files to CD" I get the same beep. I have already enabled Cd recording on both drives. Any suggestions?

    Windows version?

Noting that your other posts refer to Windows 2000, that OS does not have a "native burner" as XP does.

When I click on "write these files to cd" I get a quick beep and then nothing happens. I get the same beep when I click on "delete temporary files". Could this be some setting I need to change?

hmm... I'm not too sure on why that would happen, but I would suggest to try another program to see if you get the same problem. CDBURNERXP (www.cdburnerxp.se) is a good free program that will burn your files.
