I've installed Vista Ultimate in dual-boot mode on an XP (SP2) machine. The XP machine had 2 IDE hard disk partitions formatted as Basic NTFS drives - one of which had the XP O/S on it. The new Vista sees these disks as Dynamic, and is unable to Reactivate them.
Could anyone explain why this is?
