    Hi,
I have read the various posts (both in this forum and elsewhere) to try and resolve this but with no success.
I can't access certain websites in particular my bank (www.ingdirect.co.uk) and a computer parts supplier (www.dabs.com).
I am set up with a brand new PC and an older laptop runing through a 3com modem/router. The laptop can see the sites fine. The PC is the one with the problems. The PC is running XP Home edition SP2 (same as the Laptop) with IE 6.
In no particular order I have done the following:-

    1. Pinged the sites (Dabs - yes, Ingdirect - out of time)
    2. Set IE security to default (prior to this I reduced it massively and also mimicked the Laptop's settings)
    3. Added the sites to the "Trusted Zone". This did nothing so I have taken them out again.
    4. Run CWShredder
    5. Run Adaware
    6. Run Spybot
    7. Turned off the windows firewall.
    8. Checked IE is running 128-bi - it is.
    9. Checked that Cryptographic Services are running - they are.
    10. Changed the local machines from static IP to IP from router and back again.
    11. Run 2 on-line virus scans. (Computer Associates & Trend Micro)
    12. Deleted all cookies
    13. Checked for a corrupted windows user file by creating a new user and trying to access through that.
    14. Verifiyed time and date settings are correct.
    15. Registered the dll files
    16. Used system file checker to verify protected system files
    17. Run Spywareblaster
    18. Run Hijackthis (see below for the log)

I have now completely run out of ideas. Any help very gratefully received.
    Thanks
    Henry
