Why can't I access the Facebook site??
When I try and open it with Google Chrome it says "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.facebook.com," even when I try to open Rockmelt (I have successfully been using Rockmelt with a Facebook account for quite a while), it says "Login not available!". I've tried every single thing including changing my DNS, using Tor and Hotspot Shield, using proxy servers, using the IP for facebook instead of the link, going to www.lisp4.facebook.com, chaging the 'hosts' file, resetting my router... etc. I still can't access facebook!
All my friends can access Facebook without making any changes, I can even go to facebook at school, but not at home?!
And, yes I have tried scanning for viruses, malware, etc.: nothing! I've tried with Firefox and still the same problem!
If anyone can help me it would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance!

A proxy server should certainly work, as would Hotspot Shield.

Try accessing Facebook with the following address instead:

    https://www.facebook.com/

Nope. Doesn't work. I got "Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error."
I thought a proxy server should work too and I tried alot of them, but...

What are your antivirus and firewall? Have you tried disabling them, or at least checking the settings for a possible rule involving Facebook?

Sorry for late reply, I've disabled anything in my antivirus that may involve Facebook.

Please click HERE to download and install HijackThis.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile from the Main Menu.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next reply.

    IMPORTANT: Do not fix anything
