Hi there! I'm having some trouble viewing some files located on an SD card.

I've tried using the following command in Terminal and then killing Finder to show the hidden files, but nothing pops up.

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
I know there are files on there, because it plays video and music when plugged into an external device and only a small portion of the full memory is free.

Is there any way to show/access those files?

Thank you!

Format: MS-DOS (FAT16)

Note sure if it's worth it to note, but I tried copying the files over to a separate USB drive, just so I don't lose the originals if anything happens. Whatever or wherever the hidden folders/files are, they don't transfer over.

Don't know if it was a typo, but the command you want is:
Code:
defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
(capital 'F' for Finder)

Do all the files appear in Terminal using
Code:
ls -al[/quote]?
(Assuming you navigate to the SD location first. /Volumes/....)
