    Hi

For the last two weeks or so I keep getting kicked out of websites I have went to on more than one occasion. IE just says cannot display webpage and firefox keeps saying connection timed out.
I have been researching this issue through other forms. Here is what I have tried so far to fix this issue

    Reset all cookies, history, etc
    Renewd IP
    System Restore
I am not running off any proxys
Did a full compuer scan and removed all threats/virus'
    Reset SSL's
Uninstalled Windows IE and Firefox and reinstalled
    Unplugged Router
Put cookies/firewall settings to minimun or none and tried to access websites

There is no specific trend towards the webstites I go to, that I can see at least. One is my bank account and another is a clothing store, little things like that here and there. I can't get on any mozilla websites for tech help so I have been googling it through my Android. I even did a diagnostic through windows on a specific website and it said that everything checked out and that it was a web site issue, which I find hard to believe since I can access it through my phone.

Any support would be greatly appericiated.

    Thanks :)

"cannot display webpage" and "connection timed out" usually mean that there is something temporarily wrong with the web site, or with your ISP, or congestion somewhere between the site and your computer. With the problem web sites can you never access them, most times not access them, or only sometimes not access them?

Are you connecting the computer to the modem or router by Wi-Fi or ethernet or USB?

Is your phone internet access through the same ISP and router?

Can you be more specific about what you mean by "kicked out of websites"? Do they seem to be the same ones you have trouble accessing at other times?

The problem websites I can never access, just goes directly to the the error page. These are pages I have always been able to view.

    I have a Netgear N150 Wireless ADSL+ Modem Router

My phone has 3g internet access. However, when I try to access those same sites through my phone when it's on wifi connected through the router, I can't access it either.

By kicked out I mean that I can't access them at all, I should have used a different a different term. And yes, they are the same websites I have been having trouble with.

Probably your ISP has a routing problem (or possibly a DNS issue, if they have the wrong address for sites). If you can convince them of that (will probably have to speak with a supervisor or tier 2 tech support) they should be able to find and fix it.

If you can post here two or three of the sites we may be able to show you how to use a tracert command to gather more evidence.

    all access fine from here.

As Terry said, let's try a tracert command.

    Start > run > cmd > enter > tracert torrid.com > enter

let it finish. Then right click in the command box > select all > enter > come back here > right click > paste in the quick reply box. As below:

It's tracing the hops (computers) that are traversed in getting from valis's computer to the torrid site. Need to compare to what you get. I expect that yours will get "lost" somewhere. Here is mine; it, of course, it starts differently but when it gets to the ALTER.NET site it makes two hops there (vs. three for valis's) and then the last three hops are exactly the same.

You're welcome. Are you going to post your tracert results, or do you have enough information to proceed?
