Last week i receiver an email, when I opened it Norton told me that it contained a virus. I let norton delete it. A week later I tried to boot my computer up and couldn't. Windows 2000 would load about 1/2 way then the computer would shut down and start all over again. I've tried to reload windows on the boot up, but still no luck, looks like I'm doomed. Is there a program that I could boot up with that will clean the virus from my computer so windows will run again or do I need to reformat the drive??

    thanks
