    Hi,

had a few problems with CD drive recently that I fixed with help...

    http://forums.techguy.org/hardware/539094-solved-cd-drive-stopped-working.html

Can't seem to burn anything now, pictures, documents. Tried a couple of CD's but get a message about needing to insert a disc when one is there. Also Sonic Record Now stopped working so I reistalled it and now get a message saying no drives are enabled ??

i had that prob b4 and i replaced the drive. Some of the more experenced pros here could give you some better advice but that is what i did. you could always try changing the cables.

When I put a blank disc in (type that I have always used ) and try to write to it or look at it I get..

D:/ is not accesible Incorrect Function

If I try to write to a disc with data on I get a message telling me that I have got a CD ROM

Nero tool is telling me it can write.
