I use hotmail and early on (a couple of years ago)I subscribed to several mags. but now I can't "unsubscribe" I've tried everything including blocking the site entirely, and of course, using the unsubscribe option? Forbes seems to be the most stubborn.

I'm not familiar with setting rules to dump. How can I find out about that?

    jrhobbsjr,

In the Hotmail Inbox, check the box to the left of the message you want to block and click the Block button located just above the message list.

This will take you to a page with two options. The first option is to block that individual email address (ex. [email protected]) and the second option is to block the entire domain (ex. @spam.com).

Normally, I block individual email addresses unless I am sure that no one else from that domain will send me messages I want to receive. If I'm sure no one from that domain will send me wanted messages, I block the whole domain.

Select whichever option works best for you, and click 'OK' and the bottom right.
