I have an hp touchsmart tx2 laptop with an ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics card. I recently reformatted and reinstalled vista. Since the reformat, however, the resolution has not been the same. I'm not entirely positive that my resolution was 1280x960, but I think it was. I am absolutely sure that it was a 4x3 ratio, and anything less than 1280 seems horribly fuzzy and large. But the highest resolution I can reach now is 1280x800. I've tried getting the most recent drivers from ATI and every windows update. Nothing seems to help. I've also noticed that if I go into the options in ATI's Catalyst Control Center, changing the scaling options from "full screen" to "preserve aspect ratio" doesn't do anything. The screen flickers for a few seconds, but doesn't change at all. Does anybody know of a way to get my resolution back to 1280x960? Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
