Hi, I have a d-link DI624 wireless router, and am having a few problems.

    I'm running windows 98.

I will not be going wireless for a few weeks, so I wil be connecting via network cable to the ethernet port on the wireless router.

I have followed the instructions for setting this up, and can access the router at 192.168.0.1, but cannot get internet access .

The broadband modem and wireless router are functioning together properly, I know this because i have wireless set up on my XP laptop and it works fine.

Anybody care to throw in a suggestion, ?

    I'd be very grateful,

    thanks,
    Steve

First off, let's make sure I understand.

You can access the router's setup with it's IP address in IE, but you can't access anything on the web, correct? Have you tried accessing something on the web by IP address from that machine? For instance, www.yahoo.com has an IP address of 216.109.118.66, try accessing it first by URL, then by the IP address with IE.

If you can access it by IP and not URL, you have a DNS issue. Open an MS-DOS window and type:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

    Post the results.
