i have a wireless network and i am using the Belkin G Plus Mimo Router along with a Wireless G usb Network Adapter, when i start my computer i get a connection at 11mbps even tho i have a capability of 54mbps. Then after 5 or 10 mins the network says limited or no connectivity so i open my wireless connection click connect. I enter my netkey and it says waiting for network. after searching for around 3 mins it stops waiting for the network and the screen says searching for wireless networks and im back where i started. i have network authentication (WPA-PSK) and the data encryption is AES.

There are 2 computers connected to the router wirelessly and 0 computers connected via ethernet cable if that helps, and they both use windows xp.

can someone please help asap! im stuck!

(ive tried re-installing it but i get the same problem)

THANKS A BUNCH IN ADVANCE Bulb1988

is the other PC working OK on wireless?

you may just need to change channels on the router - use 1 or 6 or 11

you need to log into the router - the router manual will tell you how
    goto the wireless section

and you can change channels there

again if its a cordless phone interfering - changing channels often fixes that too

when you had secruity enabled - the laptop did ask you to enter the key and you did this correct

just to let you know what i did to get where i currently am with this problem... i reconfigured my router then when i came downstairs it still wasn't working. i tried to connect but it said no connection. then i clicked on the firefox and it changed to connected. when you reconfigure this router according to the instruction manual there is no internet security. i enabled the security using the same settings as before and now it is working fine. If i get any more problems im sure to be back! Thanks for all the help! :)
