    Has the IP been changed? Try a hard reset by holding the reset button 30 seconds.

    Belkin by default is 192.168.1.1 I believe... 192.168.0.1 is the other popular default.

    Have you changed its IP?

    Just a thought in case your not, you need to be hard wired to the router to configure it for the first time.

    Are you trying to connect by ethernet? Or by wireless? Or are you connected and trying to access the router's web type interface?

    Please give details, error messages, etc.

    Im connected via ethernet and im trying to acsess the routers main interface, but i cant for some reason. The ip that usually works doesnt, which was 192.168.2.1 i have also tried others but to no success.

    Also: When i use cmd and type in ipconfig to see what my ip is. It says its 192.168.2.5 i type that into the browser and it sends me to google like i searched it.

    You wouldn't be looking for your IP there, you'd be looking for the GATEWAY ip instead.

    post back here your ipconfig /all
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    {ipconfig /all}
    If you cannot access the internet with this PC, then you will need to paste the results into something like notepad and then copy onto a machine that can access the internet and post results here
    We would like to see the results from ipconfig /all post back the results here
    -> Start
    -> (XP - enter the following in the RUN box)
    cmd /k ipconfig /all
    -> (Vista or Windows 7 - enter the following in the Search box)
    cmd /k ipconfig /all

    A black box will appear on the screen -
    rightclick in the box
    select all
    enter
    control key + C key - to copy

    then reply here and
    control key + V to paste
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Make sure your not adding anything in front of the IP in a web browser - just type the number

    so if you JUST type 192.168.2.1 into a browser - use internet explorer, because some routers do not like other browsers
    what happens

    Not to be too simplistic but have you removed power to the router waited 30 seconds and then replugged it back in? I know more than one router in my time has not let me into the webui until it has been hard power reset not just with a reset button.

    You are hard wired to the router, right?

    Can you try another port?
