i'm using windows xp. i cant delete my temporary internet files, when i try to, it freezes after a bit. that's through internet explorer. through windows explorer, same thing happens. i dont get it, and have no idea what else to do.
XP has an undocumented bug that when it finds a corrupt TIF it freezes and it can take several goes to remove them manually one by one,
I frequently have to go into explorer and delete them in small batches, until I find the dodgy one
running spider eliminates that problem as it deletes them in a dfifferent way
when you use spider with XP make sure you tick the search entire disk otherwise it won't find the files
