I can not delete (acually I want to change it, because the present spelling is wrong!)my user name which is required on an application (E-Commerce Engine osCommerce)

I have deleted all cookies usernames and passwords as can be done in in the Explorer under Extras many times. I received a special program (iepv.zip ) which should remove any username.

Every time after deletion I write my name correctly but the minute I get to the password line the wrong spelling reappears!

Nothing has worked so far. When I click the right button (next to my username) it list my username in the wrong spelling. I cant delete it there either.

I use Windows xp and Windows Explorer 7

On any other computer I can get into the program with no problems. Its really a great bother. Can any body please help.

    Thanks

    Jacqueline1

    1. Is the name when you login correct? See Control Panel, User Accounts.
    2. Is the Owner name correct? See Control Panel, System (You can change this in Registry in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion)
    3. Try uninstalling the application, delete any remaining files are reinstall it again.Or is the application run from the web? Maybe the username is stored in 'Protected Storage'
    4. Try clearing out form usernames and passwords in Internet Options, Content, Autocomplete area.

If you are the registered owner go here:
    Run, regedit:
HKey Local Machine,Software, Microsoft, Windows NT,Current version
right click "registered owner" and modify to what you want.
The only other place might be in Control panel, users where you want to "change name"
of a user which is pretty self explanatory.

In Internet Options, if you have IE7, click the Delete button and then the Form Data button.

    Thanks for your reply
The owner name is correct and is different from the incorrect user name I get when I try to log into the application. The application is run from the window, so I cant delete it and restart.
I cleared out username, password in internet options several times to no avail. Any other ideas?
