cant display pictures

    Windows ME

    Why when I forward and email as an attachment it shows only a square with a little red box in the top left corner and no picture?? When I read the original email, I see the pics but wehn I forward it you cant and the people I send to cant see the pictures..How can I fix that?
    Any ideas?
