 I can't download anything. I keep getting a "403 Error Forbidden Internet Explorer" message. I have checked for viruses. I have also included a copy of my Hijack This results. Any Suggestions? Thanks.

i hate ram, thanks for the reply. I am using Windows XP Home Edition and IE, V 6. I have Zone Alarm running and may have some settings here that are not allowing downloads? I have no trouble browsing sites but can't seem to download anything. My Hijack This is below:

what are these? ive never seen these before, and unless you know what they are, the could be causing problems

you have a LOT LOT LOT of stuff running.. more than ive ever seen in a hjt log... try turning off some programs.

your system is clean... no browser hijacks..

try using mozilla firefox browser. i only have limited knowledge of IE and its settings.

www.mozilla.com .. it is an excellent browser. if you decide to download it, ill give you a list of plugins to use to make it work really nice :)

    Hi

I had the same problem and found it was caused by Zone Alarm (Pro 4.5). Under the privacy tab, you should find "Mobile Code Control", disabling this worked fine for me. I tried enabling particular functions under the custom option, however this didn't help, the same setup would work fine one moment, and then not the next, so I just disabled the whole thing

    Hope this helps

if that is the case, try uninstalling ZA and installing a firewall called sygate personal firewall. you can find that one on www.download.com . pretty much the same, except a little bit more manual. hope that helps.l
