cant download anything either

    I am having a problem like that also I had too reload systems disc because my computer crashed now several programs wont work (party poker and Kazaa both are programs that you get information from the internet seems like my system isnt receiving the information but no matter what i try it doesnt work can any one help

    I have been listining too what everyone is saying and trying diffrent things but just dont seem too work I have uninstalled both Kazaa and party poker but nothing works I think it is somthing internally wrong with my computer any suggestions anyone

    Rob it's always better to have independent threads even for similar problems, so I've split yours off.

    Can you give me more details on exactly how the problem manifests itself, and exactly what steps you have tried?

    Do you get an error message? Does a file download dialog appear. Does it happen with all file types?

    Can you download HijackThis, from the site below?

    How about Spybot from the same site? The first is a zip file, the second a setup .exe.

    If you can download HijackThis, unzip it, click on Config > Miscl Tools > Generate Startuplist, and copy/paste the resulting list to a reply.
