I recently bought an imac os x version 10.4.10 processor 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo, Memory 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, startup disk Macintosh HD. 24 inch screen.

I use the paralells program to be able to use windows xp.

I inserted a dvd rom PC game (old) and played for a bit. Then I wanted to eject the disk the computer said that there was no disk inserted and now that I press eject and try all the troubleshooting advice, nothing works.

The screen makes a noise like its trying to eject but sounds like it changes its mind and quits. I have deleted windows because i'm sure it had a virus.
    Any advice?

Ok so you were playing in windows mode and it didn't want to eject? why don't you try to switch to mac version and eject it from there?

Anyways if you can't, then reboot your system and hold the mouse button (F2 works too) down for a while, it'll always eject any cd/dvd from any mac.

    Good luck
