When I log onto the internet through SBC DSL, IE automatically starts up, and is fully functional. However, if I log off of IE, the only IE executable I have available to me is a different IE then the one I automatically log onto. The problem with the second IE is that while it is 95% functionable, sometimes when I go to a site and click on tabs, they don't open. Have done searches for the executable for the IE that boots up automatically, but cannot find it anywhere.
I have Windows 2000 with service pack 4, both IE's are 6.0. Under Internet Options, Advanced, both IE's are the same.
