I have a Dell 8400 with 150GB HDD, 1GB RAM, XP Home Edition. I am try to move JPEG images from a 1GB compact flash card to a folder on my computer. When I open the Compact flash card in the thumbnail view, not all of the images display. When I go to the details view, I noticed that the images that do not display are the ones where the "date created" is not listed. I get this error message:
H:\DCIM\122ND300\DSC_0196.jpg is not a valid Win32 application.
How can I get these files off my flash card

Doesn't sound good. That's a typical issue with a corrupted card. You may need to try some data recovery software.

Thanks for the advice lordsmurf. I was able to recover them with a program I have. I can now see the thumbnails, but get the same message. Any other suggestions?
