To cut a long story as short as possible - I need to give remote access to an IT company so I can work from home, they were going to get remote access using logmein123.com but this is the error message that comes up:

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://secure.logmeinrescue.com again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.

I've gone into Tools and Internet Options to make sure TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 are ticked but the same problem persists.

I clicked on the link for RC4 to download the wizard to fix it but that brought up an error message:

'Validating the integrity of the troubleshooter failed'
    Error code: 0x800B0109
    Context: Restricted

Can anyone please help me with this?

stop posting non relevant answers and read the post before replying. I have deleted both your posts as not relevant to the question in hand.
It is not a scammer, it is not dangerous. He or she has to use that particular remote access program for work reasons.
@plodr I have also deleted your post as not relevant

It is unacceptable for anybody to reply without reading the original post properly. Your own personal views on any particular program is totally irrelevant. The poster is asking for help with a particular program. If you cannot offer help with that program then don't answer at all. Telling somebody not to use the program is unacceptable.

Try a different browser. That is a fairly common message when using Internet explorer. I find many sites that display that message in IE work fully & properly in Chrome or Firefox. It is something to do with the way the website is set up that disallows certain " insecure" connection protocols. IE on W7 retains those "insecure" protocols for backward compatibility.

There are several sites that I regularly use that just will not connect and give me that error message in IE11 on W8.1 or W10 but do work on Google Chrome in any OS or Edge browser in W10
