I've tried to remove IE6 from my computer but can't seem to get rid of it. I went to control panel, add/delete windows components, and unchecked IE. The icon remained but does not open the program.

There are still files located In C:/Windows/Program Files/Internet Exlporer. If I try to delete this folder it generates an error message and prevents me from removing the folder. I've attached a desktop jpeg shot of the message.

    Any ideas welcome!

    Thanks,

    Robert

If you are using Windows XP, it is tied to the operating system and you can't.

Really? That's not nice of them. I thought I had heard/read somewhere that it could be removed. Oh well......thanks.
