Hello, I recently factory reset my windows 10 machine (it is 100% up to date), and now I cannot, no matter how hard I try, get windows to pick up sound from any microphone.

Those bars on the right usually show when sound is being picked up, but now they pick up nothing.
I've tried really hard to find solutions online, but nothing seems to fix it. Sound isn't being picked up by either my built-in microphone or my headphones with microphone (which 100% work).
Things I have tried:
1. Updated all drivers
2. Microphone privacy setting is set to allow apps to access it
3. Probably other solutions i've found that i've forgotten about
I really have no idea how to fix this, I'm really regretting the factory reset that broke this...
Thanks for any help.
Please ignore or delete this thread, I managed to fix the issue.
