cant install adobe reader

wen itry to install reader I get this message: the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailabe......Click ok to try again or enter an altermate path to a folder containing the installation package "AcroRead.msi" in the box below

THIS IS WHAT IS CURRENTLY IN THE BOX WINDOWS IS REFERING TO:

C:\DOCUME~1\Kimothee\LOCALS~1\Temp\Adobe Reader 8.0\

(THE INSTALL THEN STOPS AND WILL NOT LET ME GO FURTHUR, i'VE TRIED DOING A SEARCH FOR THE FILE AND COME UP W/NOTHING............ANY IDEAS?!?!?!?!?! PLEEEEAAASE

you could try the "windows installer cleanup utility" as mentioned here
i used this a while back when i had a prob. installing something and it worked

i've been using foxit reader for a while now, you could switch if your fed up with adobe.
