Having a weird problem. I was trying to install Adobe photodeluxe on my machine. It went through the autorun process to the point it told it started loading the files. Then it just locks up - well, not even locks up, it just quits installing - but when I do a cntrl-alt-del to get to the task menu, it says it's not responding.
Curiously I tried to install a couple of other programs & the same things happened, went through the entire question/answers & when it gets to the actual install process, it just quits.
    Any help would be appreciated.

It's possible that there is a spyware program that is causing it.

Download and run HighJackThis and post the log here. I can see if there is anything running in the backround.
