cant install windows

    hi , its kamal, my laptop stops working......dispalys no operating system found... then i tried installing windows 7....but ends up with ...no drives found....then i tried installation from another DVD..and successfully installed , but again computer stopped working ......and now even with new DVD it ends up with no drives found.....please tell me what could be the problem and how could i resolve ut

    Sounds like you may have a failing hard drive. Run the diagnostics as detailed below.

    hi guys iv just got a new pc im trying to put windows 7 on it and having no joy the hard drive is clean with no drives assigned what do i do

    If the drive is in fact failing if you can put what you cant afford to lose such as documents etc on a cd/dvd do so, so its not lost forever.As to the second person your specs say it has windows 7 home premium on it already.If its a brand new computer the operating system should already be on there.If you can give more information it would be helpful as to why the drive appears to be empty.You might want to start your own thread on this as it gets confusing trying to help two people with different problems at the same time.
