I can go to any other site and I can access other ebay pages, but when I type www.ebay.com I get and error 404 message and that page can't be found by IE. I have a notebook that will access this page but my desktop won't. Any suggestions?

Takes me to Google search and gives me the chance to go to ebay homepage with the same HTTP error 404.

Can you clear your browsing history and cookies, then try again. Also, can you try another web browser? Chrome? Firefox?

    Hi Friend,

Have you cleared all the cookies, history, cache..?If all the other machines are fine (can load ebay) you rule out a problem with the dsl. Try another browser like Mozilla Firefox?

    Thanks,
    James

So far all of the suggestions have not worked. I have yet to find any other site that I cannot access directly thru their home page. Strange, very strange.
