I knoked myself off the net some time ago. I was unable to get Int. Exp. to repair itself, so I uninstalled it and was able to install 5.0, but it don't work right. Unable to reinstall Internet Exp. 6.0.
    Why and how is this?

    Hi kmh1552,

    Welcome to the board!

Why can't you install IE 6.0. Any particular error message?

This is the first time that I have been on this. I have several notes about several things that have happened. I'll try installing it again and note the results.
Should I uninstall IE5.0 or will it be overwritten?

I was mistaken on my previous message. I did have IE5.5, It wouldn't work and I was unable to repair it so I uninstalled it and then I was unable to reinstall it but was able to install IE4.0. It doesn't work properly either and I am unable to install IE5.5again.
The message I get when I try to install it is:

Setup was unable to install all the components. Please close all applications and try again.

I closed most startup programs exceptExplorer, Point32 (my mouse program), and Systray with the same results.
