When I try to load the Olympus Camedia software for my new digital camera I get a messarge that says " Setup failed to launch startup engine; Error loading type library/DLL".

I called Olympus and they said it was a Windows problem. I am running Windows 98. Can you help me out?

make sure that the software is compatible with w98. some of the newer camedia software won't work with anything other than xp or 2000 pro. ido you have 98se or just 98? you have to have 98se because the newer cameras no longer come with a serial port adapter, only usb and 98 does not support usb-98se does.
