Every time I try to open a link or a file with swf at the end, I get a blank screen with the Quicktime logo or some other weird logo, or a red x. I've downloaded the latest quicktime and flash players, but still no luck. I'm running xp pro.

Here's one example of a link......

Thanks in advance for your help!

Well i have a run off itself program myself, but i dont remember where the program got downloaded from, so here is what i found. Its from unh, and i got this link http://www.browsertools.net/downloads/SWFOpenerSetup.exe. I got it when i wanted to download some flash files off the internet, but i couldnt find where the flash files were installed on my computer, or view them. Now with it i can get recently browsed flash files (including little add ons used by websites, acting like many parts of a websites border) and even take flash movies (including the program to open them) onto my microdrive. Works quite fine for me.

Edit: make sure you use the now current link instead. Or go to http://www.browsertools.net/downloads.html if you want to look around.

Id suggest the one above as CS.Scorpion suggested, as its more of a plug in, so it will work for links and flash on the internet. The one ive got is good for probibly more portable storage and individual file viewing.
