I am using Windows 7 Home Premium... I received a file: sixth grade best- yearbook.pages (140.6 KB) When I tried to open it, I clicked on Microsoft Word to open it, but that wasn't the right software application. I think it might be a PowerPoint, but when I searched for that, all I found was Microsoft Office, some other folder, and eventually something like 1033. Nothing worked to open it. If anyone could help me, it would be very much appreciated. This is a time-sensitive issue, as I have an impending deadline. Thank you! :)

I don't think it's PowerPoint, because when I went to re-save it, I changed the ending from pages to ppt, and PowerPoint came up, but it wouldn't open it.

When I try your link I get a page with "This operation is not currently available."

Probably the best person to tell you what kind of file it is would be the person from whom you received it.

Try changing the extension to .jpg and see if it is a picture. That size makes me think of a relatively small picture.
