We need to know which operating system (Win 98, 2K, XP, etc.) and which email client (Outlook Express, Outlook, Netscape Communicator, Eudora, etc.) before we can offer any suggestions.

If its Outlook Express 6, go to Tools > Options > Security and remove the tick from the box that reads
Do not allow attachments to be saved or opned that could potentially be a virus.

That should solve the problem, I guess. :p

If not, post more details that Miz has asked for.

thanks, that worked(-unchecking security option)but I'm wondering if I can stick in my profile or somewhere all my specks (operating system, etc.)so each time I post they automatically appear. If not can I use that as a "signature" in my profile options? thanks again

Glad to know that the problem is solved!! :p

Well, its a nice idea to keep your config as your signature, but may be you need to give different information as per your problem each time.
