    Hello Folks,
Having problems with my Yahoo attachments. When I try to open them, I get the screen below. Never had this problem until recently.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Will any attachment open? Does yahoo have a blocker?

Wanna forward one to me to see if I can open it?

i can forward you, but it does the same thing for any attachment, whether it be excel, word, pif's. I don't know whats going on with the file path, but I haven't been able to open anything for the last few days, and I have to be able to.
Usually i have to go into my lab and use one of the lab computers, it works fine there.

Then I'll edit my address out once I receive it.

Must be some security setting then on that computer. What operating system and did you do any Microsoft 'fixes' or updates lately?

It opens for me fine. Are you bringing it into Outlook or Outlook Express? Or are you opening from yahoo.com?

By the way, I'm going to move this to web and email.

It works fine from Yahoo mail too. I'd be suspecting some type of security setting. Do you run anything like zone alarm?

No. I am going to try installing office again to see if thats the case. Its eithyer a yahoo issue, and MS issue, or this proves that once again, God doesn't like me.

    HAHA

OK, reinstalled, and still getting the same message.
however, I discovered that if I save it to my desktop, I can open them from there. I still cannot open them directly from the attachments.
This is just too weird for me.

Didn't I ask you if you could save it and open it in one of my emails? :)

Check your tools, internet options settings.

Anything regarding opening attachments? Where is your security setting? High? Low? Medium? You might try experimenting with those.
