I received an e-mail with an attachment I can't open. When I click on it, a box comes up that tells me to go to "My Computer/Options", then create an association to open it with.

Can someone tell me how to do that, please?

Thanks, Jo Ann

if you could give me the name of your file...i can probably help you with your problem. what your computer is telling you is that the program required to open that file is not on your computer. if you could tell me the name of the file, i could tell you what program you need to open it! -tm

If you right click on the file choose properties, what is the file extension?

That's a power point file. Power point is a part of microsoft office. If you haven't got it you wont be able to view it. I do remember someone coming up with a free viewer that enables you to view these types of files, maybe someone can chip in with it.

Thank you very much! I've learned something new today-----------:)

Have looked at the viewer page you sent and will think about whether I want to download it or not.

Thanks, Jo Ann
