    Hello,
3 days ago my windows live email acct went haywire. It opens up automatically as one of my saved tabs when I click Google to go on internet. This time the page looked very different, all pink and today it is now blue after I did a system restore. Only had one restore point which was back in Aug 2014. I think it successfully was restored. I am not a computer whiz for sure.

So I could not open any folders or my inbox. Was able to click on the help button but everything else acted like it was in a simple document and I had not also clicked the control key to go to the link.

I have copied and pasted the actual page and hope to attach it to this message. I deleted all of my personal stuff such as folder names, number of emails in inbox and so on. I have windows 7 and my laptop is about 5 years old It has been causing me several issues recently and would like to get a new laptop but am not counting on that.

I have malwarebytes premium and had to go premium because every time I would have malware. After I went to premium the malware seem to go away. All scans came back clean, until recently. Very recently I have been having malware after scans I was just looking to see if I could find a log to give more info but was unable to. I know that they were all a pup type and had the word tradewinds in them. I always quarantine all of it.. I also have avast and have both set to run automatically and frequently. I uploaded two word docs showing what my hotmail/outlook page looks like when opened. Deleted all personal info that was included. Thank you and please let me know if I can tell anything else.

PS I had to create a new yahoo email address just so I could continue trying to get tech support to hopefully fix this.

Access your account from a different computer and check if the issue persists. That will determine if the issue is at your account or with your computer.

Thanks I can access my email from my iphone so apparently it was the computer. But happy to say, after 5 days it opened up just , as if nothing had ever happened.

Am I allowed to ask another ? here in this reply or do I need to a post a new ?
It has to do with syncing my samsung tablet with my dell laptop, and what is the easiest to way to do this?

Please open a new thread in the Phones and Handheld forum, then mark this one as 'Solved'.

    Thanks
