I've just transferred from an XP to a Win 7 laptop.

At first, my Ofc Outlook 2003 worked fine. Then occasionally i couldn't open an existing calendar event or create a new one. Now I never can. A shadow icon appears in the task bar bearing the title ofthe msg I am trying to open, but I can only close it down, not display the window for editing.

Email and other functions work fine. And I can delete existing calendar events fine.

I tried to follow suggestions made to Zack on Jan 13 and when i was setting up the new profile I noticed I cd not find a 'Personal Folder' compatible with 03 to send my msgs to. The range was limited to '97 thru '02.

Any Help would be Very Appreciated. P

OK, none of you folks had the answer but we found it.
So, to pass it on, the problem was that the system thot i had a 2nd screen. Outlook was opening the msg.s in a nonexistent second screen. I don't know how that option got set, bc I have *never* ad a 2nd screen.

When i went to display settings and set it to a single display, I could see my new and existing appt's open fine. As an added benefit, I stopped loosing the curser off the right hand side of my display.

    :)
