    Hi, Everyone!

I am not very good with comps so it is kind of hard for me to understand all the advices previously posted. I had pictures in compressed (zip - folder). I tried to open it in Paint and then it all went weird on me. All my picture files in that huge folder turned into paint files! I can't open then neither in paint, nor in photogallery or any other program... :(
Help me out, please! Those were my memory pictures...

Thanks ahead for all the kind gentlemen and ladies who would be able to help me out! :p

    Janet

You can't open zip files in paint, any more than you could open "My Documents" or "My Pictures" in Paint. You need to extract the files with 7zip or winzip or a similar program, whereupon you probably ought be able to open the pictures.

Right-click the zip file and choose Extract. You do not need any program to do this.

Then, right-click a picture, Open With, and choose the default program to open the file.
