cant restore my desktop icons

i set my icons to be large then i install avid xpress and when i restarted it all my desktop icons are small even when the setting say its suppose to be large i set it back to small then back to large and is still small hurting my eyes can any one help me please i cant work like this ill go blind....

what is avid xpress? (does a google serach) a video editing program? hmm

that's odd. is your resolution set up correctly. maybe the program made it all huge like 1600 by 1200. go back to whatever you had either 10by 768 or 8by6.

when you say "set them to be large" do you mean this checkbox located somewhere in the desktop properties? i think theres something like that. its like some added option. why don't you try to edit the icon's size manually instead.

right click on desktop
click properties
click the "appearance" tab
click the "advanced" button
locate the "item" dropdown and select "icon" from the dropdown
and then change its size. a normal size is 32. a little bigger is 48. and really big is 64.

if you have anything less than that, then you've found your problem. i don't think even the "make icons larger" option would have fixed your tiny icons if that was tinkerd with. i hope that helps.
