all I get when I run a tracert is a 2ms connection to my router. after that all I come up with is * and connection timed out. should I have a certain protocol checked in the router firewall to allow the tracert? tracert was working fine until a couple of weeks ago and I haven't changed anything. also I've had dns problems. when I have slow connections and ipconfig /dnsflush, register, release, renew works like a charm and the connection is back to normal. thx for any help windows 98se
