I don't even know if I'm in the right forum to ask for help with this problem, but here it goes. I have Windows 2002 on my computer and the only screensaver that will run is the stupid marquee text. Is there any way to turn this feature on so that I can download screensavers and run them? The marquee text one is reeeeealy bugging me!

Hiya

Go to Control Panel | Display. Screensaver tab. You can select the one you want to change to using the drop down menu, or you can turn it off if you select None.

If you do download screensavers, as they're scr file types, you'd be best to virus scan them, as many viruses are created as scr (scripts). Also, I'm assuming you're on Windows 2000, so place them into your Windows\System32 folder in Windows explorer, then choose them as explained above.

Regards
