    Hiya

When you say redid your computer, do you mean reinstall or restore? Anyway, lets have a look at your log:

go to www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show other issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

    Regards

    eddie

Have only HijackThis running and fix :

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SysUpd] C:\WINDOWS\sysupd.exe

close all browser Windows, and have HT fix it. I don't think there's anything else, but I'll get one of the regs to take a look :)

Then, boot to Safe Mode, and delete this file:

    C:\WINDOWS\sysupd.exe
