    hi everyone

i use XP Professional and I have installed East Asian Languages and Multiligual Packs and changed the locale and ticked all the boxes in Regional Settings to Japanese but for some reason Japanese filenames with double-byte characters just show rubbish in windows Explorer (and other word processors) and NJ star doesn't help. I've never had this problem with Windows 2000. I can't see the filenames of the files I moved to my XP PC from my Windows 2000 PC. Am i missing something?!

    Please help! Thank you!
