Trying to help a friend with e-mail problem.
Using Windows 10 Home and Outlook 2003 and Bright House web mail.
Sending mail from Outlook Client or Bright House web mail fails with the following message:
This message was created automatically by the mail system (ecelerity).
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
>>> XXXXX@bellsouth.net (after MAIL FROM): 553 5.3.0 alph130 DNSBL:RBL
>>> 521< xxx.xx.xxx.xxx
>>> >_is_blocked.__For_information_see_http://att.net/blocks
Non Delivery Report (NDR) ends above this line. Sending to other domains is no problem. Bright House says there is a problem in her computer; but, I doubt that.
Visiting http://att.net/blocks turns out to be a page that looks like it is for system administrators who work for major internet service providers and asks for information I do not have.
Additional Information: I brought my laptop to this lady's house and connected it to her network and I can send to any bellsouth.net e-mail from my own AlexEthridge.com address with no problem. Also, I can log into my web mail (AlexEthridge.com) and send to bellsouth.net addresses with no problem.
Sorry for the long post; but, I want to get all pertinent info I can think of in the first post.
