I'm currently running Win XP with OE6, I've recently changed ISP and cant seem tosend mail out using a smtp server provided by my ISP although I can receive mail in.

I believe OE6 has been corupted, and been told that i may need to reinstall OE6 Again.

How do I go about it as I can not find it in add/remove programs in control panel

    Can anyone help me again
    Thanks

You need to make sure that the smtp server in OE is the one from the ISP you are connected to.

You can only send mail from then ISP you are connected to.

Check your port setting , default is usually 25 , some use another ( ex. 25000 )

    Repair IE6

    To reinstall IE6
    1. Open the Start menu and select Run.

    2. Type %SystemRoot%\Inf in the prompt and press Enter.

    3. Locate and right-click the Msoe50.inf file.

    4. Select Install.

    5. Close the folder window after the copy process is complete.

    6. Run OE.
