    I'll do that.

I also have two more questions:

1-Can I set up administration restriction to the Operating System, because the young man how is going to play games and have fun with it might decide to go for a wonder in ciber space, which can be very educational but I'd rather let him grow up so he can install windows by himself.

2-I have got a Hard Drive from another PC that died, it also has Win98 SE in it and all my files.
Can I connect it and access the contents ? I have tried to connect it but I couldn't see an extra driver in "My computer".

    Howdy there shelljor...

Glad to see that it is installed...

On the mouse if the scandisk/defrag doesn't work, there are also a couple of other things, that can cause it , I've seen the "Esc" key being stuck cause this, and also the double click speed set too slow also cause this, and it could also be a bad mouse...

As to question1... there is not a lot of restrictions that you can do with W98, but if all you are wanting is Internet restrictions then yes you can do that, you can either get a good Internet filter ( there are several out there ( this one comes to mind, http://www.netnanny.com/index.html ), or just don't setup the connection to the Internet...

And as to question 2... yes ( providing that the hard drive is good ) just set the jumper to "Slave" and hook it up to the second slot on the ribbon cable...

    Regarding administrative restrictions.
I just been advised to use "Winguardpro", a freeware.
I've already downloaded and installed it. It does just what I need, and it's very simple to use.So far I can only say that I'm quite happy with it's functionality.

About the mouse problem, it's fixed by going:
Tools --> Folder Options --> View like current folder
    Winguardpro
