I could boot XP fine this morning.... Then I went and tryed to boot up windows, othing happeed....So I try again. Now, when I go to boot it I get this:

The last attempt to restart the system from it's previous location failed. Attempt to restart again?

delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu
    Continue with system restart

When I choose the second option, it does the resuming thing, and then freezes when it gets to the end. I don't know what the other option does, how to use it, what to do if the other option isn't right, etc... Please, please help!

    Try this first

Re start your PC and immediately on startup start tapping F8 about every second before the window screens and you should see a black screen with white writing....use your arrow keys to select Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter

When you get the Option to Delete then push the Delete key and let us know what happens

    I pushed it..nothing at all.

Also, I know this ins't a HD failure because I can boot my ubuntu install. This HD has had issues in th past, however, but it isn't feasible to get a neew one at the moment.

Push the power button to shut down the computer and then restart and see if that helps.
