My laptop couldnt run any applications or perform any hard disk activity without the "disk write" error. I read somewhere that this had to do with conflicts in Roxio GoBack software so i uninstalled it. After I uninstalled it and restarted it started up in safe mode and removed the other files. After it was done I restarted it and it started in safe mode. I ran a thorough scan disk and still it starts up in safe mode. I pressed f8 and made sure it was set to safe mode and I checked the system configuration and its set to normal - plz help.
